What did people expect when the put that guy in charge? I mean he has no idea about the importance of Telstra to Australia, its not just ANOTHER telecommunication company, its THE telecommunication company!
I don't agree with the sale of Telstra at all, I don't know why people are so concerned with services in the bush when inner-city services are not up to standards yet!
I wish there were more service providers so as to improve competition. When I lived in Germany a few years ago phone calls were extremely cheap if you picked the right company, it was great. But the Postal Service over there is state-owned and everything costs a freaking fortune. Services to the bush absolutely need to be improved, I just wish I knew the best way to go about that.
And as for the share thing, it sounds like something straight out of an episode of Yes Minister.
Amen to Yes Minister. Our country makes $5bn from Stealthstra annually, we sell for $30bn, so in 2012 we are DOWN $5bn. scuse me?
