Triggered by this comment at LP, I'm starting to wonder if Costello has reached a mental place where he is determined to make sure John Howard doesn't get another term. One way or another.
It seems a stretch, but our Parliament has a habit of inspiring meltdowns.
Meanwhile, as I suggested in my previous post, Howard is attempting the 'we can disagree and keep going' approach. It's an olive branch that the Treasurer may be tempted to grab.
