Has Rudd shifted to the Right? Or is he just 'adjusting' here and there? I've lost track so I'm relying on you to keep me in the loop.
And while I'm asking questions: will the 2 year maternity leave, which on it's face has many attractions, turn out to be his Medicare Gold?

You have the same blog set-up as "driftglass" which looks like a good sign.The punters voted against Mr Latham because they were frightened the country would be taken over by gays and druggies.Up there at the RHS of extreme of the Gaussian age distribution they do not vote for Labor anyway. Medicare Gold really was not an issue.My 97 year old neighbour gets up before dawn sometimes to get her daily dose of the Parrot bringing yet more news of how society is going to the dogs because of lefties and Lebs etc.There are no medical cost issues for her which outdo Parrot issues and its all paid for anyway.
Rudd is a member of the right wing faction of the labor party. Sure he may not be as right wing as Howard, but he is not as left as Gillard. Rudd I believe has a religious background too so his views will be very pro-life.
